This is not a tourist show – it's a real local festival with parades, live music, traditional dances, fireworks and hundreds of locals celebrating together. We'll explore the Old Town, watch the main celebrations and finish the evening with music and drinks in the heart of Benidorm. 🎉 What we'll experience - Walk through Benidorm's beautiful Old Town - Traditional parade through the historic centre - Official Sant Jaume celebrations - Traditional Ball del Peuet - Spectacular fireworks - Open-air party (Verbena Popular) with live orchestra and dancing - Plenty of opportunities to socialise with fellow expats and travellers 📅 Approximate schedule 6:00 PM – Meet near Balcón del Mediterráneo 6:15 PM – Explore the Old Town and enjoy the festive atmosphere as the parade makes its way through the historic centre. 7:15 PM – Watch the official presentation of the 2026 Festes Majors Patronals poster at Plaza del Torrejó. 8:30 PM – Gather around San Jaime Church for the evening's main celebrations. After the mass (approximately 9:15–9:30 PM): • Traditional Estampeta ceremony • Ball del Peuet at Plaza de San Jaime • Fireworks display • Walk together to Plaza de Castelar for live music, drinks, and the open-air Verbena Feel free to stay with the group for as long as you'd like. 💰 Price FREE Food and drinks are at your own expense. ✅ What to bring - Comfortable shoes - Water - A fully charged phone - Good vibes 😊 ℹ️ Important This is a social meetup.
